Carlos Molina is a Chilean photographer based in Barcelona. He studied arts and graphic design and now works as a freelance photographer for various clients while also developing his personal projects. His work has been published in books and exhibited in art galleries. Passionate about music—both as a listener and through his photography—he also shares his life with Jovi, a rescued street dog. "It was August 10, 2024—the day of the Chilean national classic: Universidad de Chile vs. Colo Colo. The match was played at the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos. It ended in a goalless draw, but what mattered most for the U fans was the return of Charles Aránguiz to our team. This stadium, back in 1973, was a place where many Chileans suffered detention and torture under the military dictatorship. So, it’s always moving to see people’s emotions come back to life in this space, and that’s why I wanted to make these photos. I used an Olympus XA that I bought at a street fair—I didn’t even know if it still worked."
