analog sport
It all started with a community.
Analog Football was born from a shared passion for the beauty of the game captured on film. The first step was to bring together those who felt the same — people who believed football deserved to be told differently, through the grain, imperfection, and authenticity of analog photography.
But by the end of 2019, driven by countless words of encouragement, we felt the need to take things further. That’s how analog sport was born — a social project with a clear ambition: to change the way we see sport through the lens of film photography.
Because film is more than just a medium. It’s a school of values.
It teaches rigor and patience, it reminds us to embrace failure,
It thrives on human encounters, and it opens the door to artistic expression. And it is through this medium that we chose to prepare a new generation of sports photographers, on the road to Paris 2024.
Our mission is simple: to reveal the aesthetic potential of sport in all its forms. Yes, the lightning sprint of Mbappé is breathtaking. But beauty is also found in the intensity of a women’s boxing match, in the resilience of para-athletes, in the raw energy of grassroots football.
Every year, analog sport offers young talents free access to professional equipment, training workshops, accreditations, and mentorship from industry professionals — before giving them the chance to showcase their vision in public exhibitions.
This is more than photography. It’s a movement. A way of seeing — and sharing — sport differently.
