exhibition "hors-limite"

Saint-Denis, France

Analog Sport was back with a new exhibition featuring a series of photos produced exclusively for an exhibition at 6b.

For a month, the young apprentice photographers from the class of 2022 have exhibited their work at 6b, focusing on the theme of elitist sports, or "rich man's sports" as they are popularly known. These are activities which, because of their cost or codes, are often only accessible to the upper classes, thus creating a differentiation between individuals.

The apprentice photographers in the class of 2022 had one month to think up and produce a photographic series. They chose their theme, the locations for the shoots and then put themselves in the scene. The young members of the association wanted to highlight the department's sports facilities (Golf de la Poudrerie in Sevran, Centre Equestre in Montfermeil, Club Aulnaysien de Tennis in Aulnay-sous-Bois) to question the elitist aspect of these 3 sports.

Once the photographs had been taken, they selected their series for the exhibition. Finally, they took charge of installing the prints and the scenography.

During the exhibition, a number of events took place, including a talk by horse rider Djibril Sacko and quizzes on elitist sports.
