GALERIE ANALOG SPORT
With the opening of the Analog Sport Gallery in March 2024, we've put our heart and soul into making this space a key venue for sports and film photography.
Much more than just a gallery, this space embodies the very essence of the Analog Sport social project, which aims to promote young emerging talent while redefining the way sport is perceived through the photographic lens.
Located at 3/5 rue de Metz, in the heart of the 10th arrondissement of Paris, the 150m² space of the Galerie Analog Sport has seen more than seven exhibitions in six months.
Since its summer opening with the Analog Sport Festival 2024, from 11 July to 8 September, the gallery has established itself as one of the key venues for culture and sport during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The many collaborations, exhibitions and events organised in the gallery contributed to the unprecedented creative buzz in Paris during the Paris 2024 Games.
A meeting place for the photography and sport community
In addition to its exhibitions, the Galerie Analog Sport has become a place for meetings and exchanges. We have regularly organised film screenings with a direct link to sport or photography and also organised inspirational talks and e-sport tournaments and guided tours so that people of all ages can enjoy the space. We've also set up an ephemeral analog photo lab' in the gallery, allowing enthusiasts to try their hand at black and white analog printing and take their photos home with them.
Since the gallery opened, we've staged more than seven landmark exhibitions. Thanks to our commitment to the inclusion and promotion of young talent, and with partners such as the European Commission and FNAC, we are proud of what we have achieved so far and look forward to continuing to explore and push back the boundaries of sports photography through lively, popular place dedicated to art and sport.
This place has been made available to us free of charge by Praemia REIM France for temporary occupation until November 2024. This is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our ability to bring a place dedicated to the arts to life in an inclusive way. This project, which has exceeded our expectations, allows us to dream of a similar project in the future, in which we could take up permanent residence in a district.
